my  law firm is acutely aware that one of the issues that Clients face when engaging the services of a lawyer is not knowing how much money they will need to spend to deal with their particular matter. 

Legal services that are charged out at upwards of $300 per hour plus GST do not provide an incentive to a law firm to complete a matter as quickly and efficiently as possible however a fixed fee arrangement does, and provides certainty for both parties.

Of course there are some legal matters where a fixed fee arrangement is not always possible due to the variables that exist, especially in highly litigious matters, however there are a lot of matters where a scope of services can be documented together with a fixed fee to complete this service.
